Welcome to Term 3

Welcome back to Term 3! We look forward to a spiritually enriching term filled with opportunities for prayer, reflection and celebration. A special focus this term will be on our Year 6 students as they prepare for and celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. Their retreat day next week will provide a meaningful time for spiritual growth and preparation before receiving the sacrament — a significant milestone in their faith journey.

This term, we will also celebrate the Feast of the Assumption, a holy day that reminds us of Mary’s special place in our Catholic tradition and her role as a model of faith and obedience to God.

Weekly Masses will continue throughout the term and will be led by Father Dispin. These liturgical gatherings are a treasured part of our school life, offering the entire community moments of connection, faith, and reflection. You are always welcome to attend at 10am on Tuesdays.

We look forward to journeying together through another blessed and faith-filled term.

Sunday's Gospel - Luke 10: 38-42- Mary and Martha

On Sunday, this gospel was read at mass and it gave a wonderful message to us all about being present and taking time to enjoy the moment. It is only natural to be caught between 'getting things done' versus being present and giving those around us quality time. We can all find this tricky at times.

This gospel reading sent me a reminder to try and find balance.
