Junior School

Junior School had a fantastic time challenging themselves at camp last week!  As a school, we are very lucky to have Junior School attend camp alongside the Grade 3-6 Students and our students really stepped up to the challenge!

Preps and Year Ones worked together on their day trip down to Lake Dewar Discovery Camp, participating in a series of challenges and activities such as swinging on a rope and damper cooking on a camp fire!

Aviana from Grade 1 says that her favourite activity from camp was "When we had to go in a circle and threada hoola hoop through our bodies, it was hard!"

The Grade Two students were lucky enough to have a sleepover at camp and participated in activities such as canoeing, go-kart riding and archery. They were exhausted by the end of the day and tucked themselves into their bunk-beds. This was the first time some of them had ever stayed away from home for a night - well done Grade 2s!

Millie and Ke from Grade 2 said that hut building was their favourite activity.

It was wonderful to see how enthusiastic the Junior School Students were as they experienced life at camp. They all worked collaboratively with one another and stepped outside their comfort-zones and we couldn't be prouder of them!
