Year 5/6

Amici Insieme Training
Our Grade 5/6 students wrapped up a term of dedicated work in their Amici Insieme training with an excursion to Bargoonga Nganjin (Fitzroy North Library). Under clear skies, we walked together to the library for a day filled with teamwork, reflection, and leadership development. Students worked in their groups to strengthen their understanding of their roles as Amici Insieme Peer Leaders, practiced key communication and leadership skills, and prepared to lead meaningful sessions with the whole school in Term 3.
One of the highlights of the day was enjoying our lunch on the library’s beautiful rooftop terrace - complete with delicious slices of pizza - followed by a well-earned break and play in the nearby Edinburgh Gardens.
We couldn’t be prouder of these emerging leaders, who showed maturity, enthusiasm, and a shared sense of responsibility and care. They are more than ready to guide and inspire the rest of the school in the term ahead!
