Unit of Work and SEL

This term our Unit of Work: ‘Creating a Better World’ is where students will be immersing themselves into the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This unit encourages students to become active global citizens. It also links beautifully to our serial read The Last Bear by Hannah Gold.

In Social and Emotional Learning this term, the students will be:

• Explaining how emotional responses influence behaviour
• Explaining the influence of emotions on behaviour, learning and relationships
• Analysing factors that influence their ability to regulate emotions.
