Dio Swimming Carnival- Gunnedah
Congratulations to our team of seven students (Alice Coombes, Georgia Abra, Jedd Hall, Jack Kenafick, Farrer Burke, Nulla Gillon and Molly Gallagher) who attended the Armidale Diocesan Swimming Carnival last Friday in Gunnedah. Each of the students gave 110% in their individual races and improved in their race time from our School Carnival. The students are to be commended on the way that they cheered and supported each other. Thank you to Mrs Underwood and to the parents and caregivers that came along and supported our students.
A big congratulations to Georgia Abra who has been selected in the Armidale Diocesan swim team for 10 Years girls 50m Freestyle after finishing second overall in her age group. She will now compete at the NSWCPS Polding Swimming competition held in Sydney at the Olympic Aquatic Centre on the April 3.
