🏅Beyond The College
Micah Represents WA In State Cricket
During the summer holidays Micah A (Year 11) represented WA in the U17 Cricket Australia National Championships hosted in Ballarat. Micah played as an underage player so he can play next year too. WA went extremely well throughout the group stages making it to the grand final without losing a game.
Unfortunately they lost in the Grand Final to NSW Country. Micah had an outstanding tournament with taking the most wickets for WA and being 8th overall for the whole country, he took 9 wickets at an average of 9.
Micah is also currently a part of the WACA youth academy where he will look to take his game to the next level.
Well done Micah!
Todd Heads For A Ripping End Of Season Campaign
The Junior Formula 500s (600cc powered motorcycle engines) head to the 2023/2024 season finale in the coming weeks, as one of our Year 10 students is in the running for a podium result.
Todd is a junior 500 driver for Pages Motorsports and is having the time of his life chasing that end of year final podium finish. Throughout the season Todd has consistently been finishing on the podium and is currently sitting second overall for the WA Junior 500 points.
Todd travels the state, competing in places such as the Perth Motorplex, Esperance, Kalgoorlie, Moora and many more remote circuits. Todd competes against a high rank of drivers aged between 12-16 years of age, both male and female.
Todd has one more year in the junior ranks before he moves up to seniors, where he will be competing against his older brother Nicholas and his dad Jamie.
Todd would like to thank his sponsors and family (mum, dad, brothers) for all the support throughout the 2023/24 season.
Well done Todd!
