Boarding News

The redevelopment of the Junior Boarding House is progressing well. Preliminary earthworks have been in full swing this week and we are anticipating building will commence soon. Everyone is excitedly looking forward to watching the progress of the works take shape.  With our boarding enrolments on the rise, this is an exciting time for the Cebula community.

The House Swimming Carnival held earlier this week saw the Cebula boys swim their hearts out with many swimming in numerous head to head races and showing what true Cebula spirit looks like. Well done to each swimmer for his great commitment to gaining as many valuable points as possible in each event.

We are very proud of the quality weekend activity program our boarders have access to. For five weeks 18 boys will be undertaking a series of surfing lessons at Brighton Beach. The first of the lessons took place last Saturday and from all accounts was thoroughly enjoyed. We are currently exploring a variety of other possible activities including Parkour and sailing as options for Term 2.

After a busy and very hot first few weeks of term, the boarders are eagerly awaiting next week’s boarders long weekend and the opportunity to recharge and spend some quality time with family and friends.
