Footy Tipping Competition

The AFL season starts 7 March so once again the Mazenod Old Boys Association is proud to offer every member of the Mazenod community the opportunity to participate in the 2024 Footy Tipping Competition.

 

Entry Fee is still the same price - $50! 

 

Please pass onto your family & friends. All welcome!!  The more people who participate the greater the opportunity for the Mazenod Old Boys Association to contribute funds to worthwhile causes e.g. Sponsorship of Mazenod Sporting Clubs, bursary payments to students.

 

END OF SEASON PRIZES

1st Prize - $1,000.00

2nd Prize - $400.00

3rd Prize - $200.00

 

WEEKLY PRIZES

Rounds 1 - 24: Weekly Prize - $50.00

Please log on www.footytips.com.au :

  • You will get the choice of Join Now or Sign In – If you are an existing member you should select “Sign In”; 
  • Enter your email; (if it hasn’t changed) and click on the “Continue” button;
  • You will then be asked to enter your password;
  • You can then enter your tips.

Please do not leave it until the last minute!!

 

For new members, signing up is reasonably straightforward. The Competition name is Mazenod Old Boys and the Password is MOB1966.  However, if you are still having problems do not hesitate to email me or Jeremy Logan (logan.jeremy@mazenod.wa.edu.au) for help.

All CURRENT Mazenod students who join online will earn a $10 canteen voucher, sponsored by the Mazenod Old Boys.

Please note that as we use the FootyTips website to host our competition we are compelled to adhere to the rules of that website.  These rules are available on the website but a couple that are worth drawing to your attention are:

 

1: If you fail to enter any tips for the round you will be allocated all away teams but the maximum default score for the round will be capped at 5; and

 

2: If you don’t submit a tip (or a margin) for the nominated game of the week you will be allocated the away team and a margin of zero.

Mazenod Old Boys Committee

Dear Old Boy Dads,

 

The Old Boys committee is after Old Boys who would be interested in joining them. The committee meets about 5 times a year and would involve assisting a couple of times a year with Old Boy events.

 

The MOB is run by a committee of volunteers. They meet regularly throughout the year to plan and run events, take part in community events, as well as approve bursaries or provide financial assistance to students and members.

 

The MOB is involved with supporting the school through things such as:

  • Sponsor Mazenod awards (Junior Sportsman Of The Year, Presentation Night awards, some subject awards).
  • Donate to school for equipment such as music or sporting programs.
  • Guest speakers. 
  • Provide Yr 12 BBQs.
  • Provide bursaries to students for extra-curricular actives.   
  • Old Boy Basketball, Hockey and Footy matches. 
  • MOB Golf Day.
  • MOB Footy tipping.
