Principal's Report
Lent provides us all with a time of reflection. Reflection sometimes presents challenges, but it can also bring opportunities for improvement and development. Let's aim to be better tomorrow, each day being better than the last. Acts of kindness can help us with this goal. Everyone in our community has been asked to show kindness towards themselves and to each other. School can be a demanding environment for some and a little kindness can go a long way to ease the demands. I ask parents and carers to encourage kindness at home and at school - particularly in the way we interact with each other. This includes phone calls to the College - please be mindful that the person answering the phone is doing the very best they can and will assist and help, but being kind and polite is essential.
A very big thanks to the staff who attended our Year 7 camps this week and helped facilitate this very exciting and enriching experience for our students. Commendations also go out to the Year 7 students themselves who stepped out of their comfort zones and participated in a multitude of activities with courage and respect.
Our Kildare Campus is looking sensational as we move closer to the completion of our Stage 2 buildings. Our builders are really pushing for an April handover, which will be wonderful for our school community. All the furniture has been ordered and will be ready to be installed as soon as we can move in!
A reminder that our students conclude the term on Friday March 22 with our Foundation Day celebrations.
God Bless.
