NAPLAN

NAPLAN is on next week, from 13-15 March. All Year 7 and 9 students will participate in NAPLAN testing. Year 7 tests will take place at Kildare Campus and Year 9 tests at Brigidine Campus.

As has been the case in previous years, NAPLAN tests will be completed online. This will require all students to have a fully charged laptop and a set of earphones. Where possible earphones with a cord are preferable to Airpods.

St Joseph’s values the data collected during NAPLAN testing. Along with other data, it is used to inform decisions at a school, subject and class level. We are also able to view each individual student's test results, allowing us to ensure we are meeting students at their point of need.

There is a NAPLAN public website with a demonstration site allowing students and parents to become familiar with the test format. We encourage you to look through this with your child. This website can be found here: https://www.nap.edu.au/naplan/public-demonstration-site

If your child is absent on one of these days, there will be catch up tests running in the following week.
