Year 1 Coal Creek Excursion

The Year Ones visited Coal Creek as part of our inquiry unit on "The Olden Days." We had a fantastic time exploring and learning about how people lived in the 1870s. 

We saw old-fashioned houses, shops, tools, and the General Store, where we observed how they once paid for groceries! 

The highlight of the day was the visit to the olden-day school, where we got to use a pen and nib to practice our writing. It was a fun and exciting adventure that helped us understand what life was like in the past.
