Our beautiful Preps have introduced a First Nations Talking stick into their morning prayer routine.

Each student has the opportunity to share a prayer in the prayer circle, when holding the talking stick. Some of the prayers they shared with each other were:

"Thank you God for milk, and the sea, Lord Hear Us",

"I pray for my Mum and Dad, Lord Hear Us"

The youngest members of our school community are learning what it means to pray and also to share their prayers.

LENT

We are currently in the season of Lent, as we await Easter. The students are learning about what Lent is all about, and the important days that lead up to Easter as part of Holy Week. They are hearing shared stories from people around the world who may not be as fortunate as us, and who benefit from the work of Caritas, who we raise money for in this season.

The senior students watched "Ronita's story" and were asked to respond.
