Hi Families,
In order to create strong learning connections between school and home, we have began using Seesaw. Seesaw is a program/app that the students will be using to show you their learning and achievements. Student will be learning to use the program in their ICT sessions and will be able to take photos, recordings and text of their work and progress to share with you to view. Families are able to view their students work at any time by downloading the app to any device and clicking on the link for your child’s class, where you can select your child’s name. Please see links below.
Students are very excited to be able to share with you their learning and we are looking forward to showcasing all the amazing things that students from NPS are doing in their classrooms on a daily basis!
Please note, that this is a student use app- so if you need to contact your child’s teacher, please communicate via the usual channels.

Thanks to everyone who came to our open afternoon last week, we enjoyed having you in playing some games!
At relay for life, we had a lot of fun and we really enjoyed singing. At the start it was a bit nerve racking but once we were singing, we were proud and knew we could do it. We were happy to support people how have had or known people with cancer. Thank you to Miss hood and all the amazing singers.

Every morning the 2/3/4s begin our day with a literacy task to ease us into the day. One of our favourites is to play hangman with our friends on the little whiteboards.
The 2/3/4s had our first kitchen garden experience today. It was great fun to walk up to our local hall and have a go at cooking some food for ourselves. We made zucchini slice, simple salad and apple crumble. The students had great fun preparing the food and even picking our own apples from the orchard. Thanks so much to our helper parents and grandparents that came along.
On Wednesday we had Emma visit the F/1 and 2/3/4 classes to share her new book with us. It was great fun to hear some stories read by the Author and ask her some questions afterwards about how she became an author, her inspirations for her stories and how books are published.
This week's Community Story Time was all about construction. After reading the book "Iggy Pack, Architect," students were able to select from a range of construction materials to get building and creating!
