Loving learning every day with Mrs Jacobs and Miss Mawby!
What a week it has been in 3/4! We've been thrown a few curve balls over the last couple of weeks, but we've come back stronger than ever.
In Literacy, we have continued to study our mentor text Go Go and The Silver Shoes. We have been looking at strong verbs, how writer's get their ideas, and simple sentence structure. We have been noticing how the author uses these things in their text, and using these things in our own writing.
In Numeracy, we have been learning how to read numbers past 10,000, some of use even got as far as reading numbers in the trillions! We have also talked about how important zero is when reading and writing numbers.
