Senior Volleyball
On Wednesday 21st of February, a group of Year 11 and 12 students represented the College playing volleyball. There were three teams all up and a few games were won between them all. It was a good day overall, with students being able to showcase their skills, have some fun, work together in a positive manner with new people and have a positive break from the classroom.
Senior Tennis
Alongside the Volleyball team, the Senior Tennis Team went out to compete in the interschool tennis tournament. Unfortunately, an early injury left us a player down and we were unable to come back against Lilydale High, who had double the number of players. However, in the matches we did get to play, we played really well and managed to win two out of three. It was really great to be able to get out and interact with other schools in the community and we all had a fantastic day.
Year 7 Boys Cricket
On Wednesday 28th February, the Year 7 boys represented Lilydale Heights College at a cricket round robin. We played a total of three games. We lost one to Upper Yarra Team A, we won one against Lilydale High Team 2 and won one against Upper Yarra Class B. After the three intense games we placed 3rd out of six teams. It was a very warm day, everyone had a go in the fast super 8 formats. We would love to represent the school again.
