Embracing a Positive Maths Mindset

Mathematics is not just a subject confined to the walls of the classroom; it's a skill that plays a role in every aspect of our lives. Cultivating a positive mindset towards maths is pivotal for academic success and personal growth. At Greenhills, we believe in nurturing this mindset collaboratively across the entire Greenhills community.

We understand that for some students, maths can seem intimidating. That's why we're excited to introduce the "I Hate Maths" picture story book. This book delves into the dynamics of a family's attitude towards maths and aims to transform the perception that maths is inaccessible or irrelevant. Instead, it highlights the friendly presence of maths in everyday scenarios, emphasising that we are all good at maths and use maths everyday.

As parents and educators, we play a crucial role in shaping how our children perceive mathematics. By encouraging them to engage with real-life maths and fostering a positive learning environment, we can empower them to embrace maths with confidence and enthusiasm.
