The School for Student Leadership is a Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) initiative offering a unique residential education experience for year nine students. The curriculum focuses on personal development and team learning projects sourced from students' home regions. There are four campuses in iconic locations across Victoria and the  Snowy River Campus is near the mouth of the Snowy River at Marlo in east Gippsland.

Students develop their Leadership skills and work together on a Community Learning Project which they bring back to our school. In recent years these have included a Community Garden space and Year 7 Information Bookle

My highlight from snowy river camp was caving. It was so amazing to crawl through the caves and see all the beautiful cave decorations. I learnt a lot of resilience at the camp and pushed myself out of my comfort zone. I was challenged doing expeditions, but I learnt a lot from them and had a lot of fun. I have made lifelong friendships and it was such a great experience.” 2023 Year 9 attendee
