If you have a highly curious, highly able, and or gifted child, HEPS invites you to register for this free parenting session via Zoom. Facilitated by gifted parenting coach Devon Harris and Mensa children's coordinator Eliza Murray to discuss a range of strategies parents can use to support highly able children in school and life.
Kinder Storytime will begin again in Term 2 at HEPS. If you have a child that is in 3- or 4-year-old kinder and you would like to meet some new people in your community, come along to HEPS Kinder Storytime. These sessions are facilitated by one of our wonderful Foundation teachers.
Discussion Night: Riding the Roller Coaster - supporting your child through the ups and downs Date:(Monday) 23/04/24 7.30-9.00pm
It can be challenging navigating the complexities of making sure your highly able child has access to appropriate schooling and educational provisions. This seminar will give you practical tips and advice for proactively building positive relationships with the staff at your child’s school, as well as effective communication strategies for handling difficult situations. We will also discuss the importance of documenting dialogue with the school in the form of keeping records of important discussions and decisions. The workshop will be interactive, so please bring your questions!
