Lenten Season Fundraising for Caritas Australia: Coin Line Incentive!

Dear families,

As we approach the season of Lent, our school is excited to embark on a special initiative to support Caritas Australia, a charitable organization dedicated to alleviating poverty and promoting social justice.

Throughout the Lenten season, we aim to instill the values of compassion, generosity, and community service in our students. To actively contribute to this cause, we are organizing a fundraising campaign, and we would like to invite you and your children to participate.

As part of this initiative, we will be conducting a Coin Line event during the last week of Term 1. The Coin Line is a creative and engaging way for our students to contribute to the fundraising efforts. Students will have the opportunity to bring in coins, form a line with their classmates, and measure the length of the combined coins. 

To make the fundraising even more exciting, we have planned incentives. There will be prizes for the class with the longest Coin Line and another for the class that raises the highest amount of money. These incentives aim to encourage friendly competition and add an element of fun to the fundraising process. 

Your support in discussing the importance of this initiative with your children and encouraging their active participation is highly appreciated. Together, we can make a significant impact and demonstrate the spirit of giving during this Lenten season.
