Highlights from Heights

It was great to see so many families at our Getting to Know You interviews last Wednesday. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity for parents and carers to meet their child’s teacher, share important information that may support learning and wellbeing, and ask any questions. We truly value these early conversations and thank families for taking the time to connect and partner with us.

We were also excited to see AusKick kick off this week, with lots of students participating from across the school, including one or two participants from our Springvale Campus. Programs like AusKick play an important role in supporting children’s physical health, teamwork, confidence and social skills and most importantly, they are great fun! If your child hasn’t signed up yet, it’s not too late. Simply scan the QR code on the posters around the school. Even if you missed the first session, there are still three more sessions to go, running every Thursday from 3:30–4:30pm after school and best of all, it’s completely free.

We are also delighted to see our Community Hub programs starting up for the year. Alongside our much-loved programs such as the Women’s Wellbeing Group and Playgroup, we are very excited to be introducing new programs at our Heights Campus. These include Adult English Language classes and Digital Essentials, both of which offer free child minding. All Community Hub programs are free and open to our school community, and we warmly encourage families to come along and get involved.

There is so much happening at Springvale Rise Primary School, and it is exciting to see our community learning, connecting and growing together.
