The intention of the Parent Charter is to outline the principles and expectations that underpin the relationship between parents and schools as we work together to build school communities based on our enduring values of faith, hope and love.

Regular school attendance plays a vital role in supporting student learning and overall wellbeing. Each day at school contributes to a student’s academic progress, while frequent absences can interrupt their learning and achievement. It is also important that students arrive on time each day and are not collected early on a regular basis.
Parents and Carers are required to:
Ensure their child attends school each day unless they are absent for an approved reason
Provide an explanation for any absence within 7 days; otherwise, the school must record it as unexplained
Supply a medical certificate for recurring or long‑term absences
Submit an application in advance for planned leave of more than 5 days

Parents are reminded to ensure their child/children do not walk between cars when exiting vehicles in the carline, as this poses significant safety risks. Students are asked to use the pedestrian crossing, which is supervised by staff.
Please avoid opening car boots automatically, as vehicles often stop closely behind. Students are encouraged to keep their school bag inside the vehicle for easy and safe access.
Parents are also asked not to park in the staff car park or the administration car park unless they are visiting the office or collecting a child from the sick bay.
