2026 Apple Fair

COOKIES, SLICE AND ALL THINGS NICE!

Next week in your child’s bag you will receive a cardboard tray and an invitation to get your apron on! Get the kids involved and whip up a batch of goodies to be sold at the Apple Fair Bake Sale (always one of the most popular stalls!)

Please drop your items into the staff room on Thursday 12th or Friday 13th March. Collect a spare tray from the staffroom if you are keen to make multiple servings.

  • You ‘batter’ believe it! – Brownies, tarts, cookies, cake, banana bread, slice, pastries, cupcakes, muffins etc.
  • Not this time thanks Nigella – Anything with cream, custard or needs refrigeration such as vanilla slice, sponge with fillings, mousse, cheesecake etc.

Nuts are ok as long as they’re listed on the ingredient sticker provided.

CALLING ALL TRADIES (WITH A SENSE OF HUMOUR)

The Apple Fair is hosting a Tradies Auction - and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.

- You take the stage (or not…the MC can spruik on your behalf)- Show your tools of the trade and tell the crowd what you do best.- They bid for 2-4 hours of your time.

We’re not talking big builds, full renovations, or “while you’re here” jobs - think:

  • patching a hole in the wall
  • poisoning some stubborn weeds
  • a bit of handyperson magic
  • or even a family haircut

Just small tasks, good fun, and helping out the school.

We’re looking for 10 tradies only, with a couple of builders and a plumber already signed up. Paul Crapp will kick off the proceedings and get those bids started nice and high.

If you’re keen but won’t be there on the day you can still be involved!
