RSC 2025-2026 Long Course Season Calendar

Please take note of the 2025-2026 Long Course season calendar below.The calendar includes club events, such as the PB Challenges (formally Aggregates) and RSC hosted meets, as well as targeted meets. Although there is a column to indicate which squads should enter each meet/event, swimmers from any squad are always welcome to enter and attend any of our targeted meets.

Metro East Long Course Preparation Meet - 21 February - MSAC

We hope your swimmer is looking forward to racing tomorrow at MSAC.

If this is your first time swimming at MSAC please visit their website for details on where to park etc. Please note that the competition is taking place at the outdoor pool. It's worth parents and swimmers sitting together in the grandstands as it makes it easier for keep an eye on swimmers and help with marshalling. 

 

Senior swimmers please help support our younger swimmers navigating around the venue and how to get to Marshalling.

 

Please find details below for the meet.

 

Session 1:

Arrival time:  8am or 2 hours before your first event

Dryland warm up: 8:10am

Pool warm up: Outdoor pool from 8:15am until about 9am. After that warm up lanes will be available indoors.

Meet start time: 9.15am

Marshalling: Assisted

Volunteer for Medals Table: We still need a volunteer to help Lu on the medals table in Session 1. As RSC is a member of Metro East, it is important that we provide our support the same way they support our events. Please let us know ASAP if you can help.

 

Session 2

Arrival time: 2 hours before your first event.

Pool Warm up: Indoor pool while session 1 is still in progress.

Meet Start time: 1:45pm

Marshalling: Self Marshalling

Metro East All Junior Selection Trials - 1 March 

This is a whole-club targeted meet, with particular focus on our State and National squads.

The top 10 finishers in each event will be invited to represent Metro East District at the Vic Metro All Junior Competition on 28 March.

Entries close on 22 February; however, we strongly recommend entering as soon as possible as this meet is expected to fill quickly.

Please note:

  • 50m events only
  • 16 years and under
  • Age category is determined by the swimmer’s age on 28 March

Metro East District Championship - 15 March

 

This is also a whole-club targeted meet. Further details will follow. It would be fantastic to see RSC strongly represented, giving us a great opportunity to contend for the District Champion – McArthur Trophy.
