Who's Who in Leadership...
Emily Roberts (Learning Diversity Leader)
My name is Emily. I am the Learning Diversity Leader here at our school. My role is to help make sure that every child feels supported, included and confident in their learning.
Children learn in many different ways, and that’s something to celebrate. I work closely with teachers, support staff and families to help create classrooms where all students can learn, grow and shine, whether they need a little extra help, different strategies or new challenges. We don’t always get everything right straight away, but we are always learning, listening and working hard to do better.
A big part of my role is getting to know our students as individuals and supporting their wellbeing as well as their learning. I love working with children, partnering with families and helping our school continue to be a safe, caring and inclusive place for everyone.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and working together throughout the year. Please feel free to say hello or get in touch at any time.
Julie Inglese (Deputy Principal +)
Hi my name is Julie Inglese and I am the Deputy Principal, Learning and Teaching Leader and Literacy Leader. I am privileged to support both our staff and students in creating a positive and safe learning environment. In my role as Deputy Principal I work closely with families, teachers and students to ensure our school runs smoothly and that every child feels safe and supported. I work closely with our Principal Clare Ryan to assist with the daily organisation of the school.
As the Literacy Leader I guide the development of effective reading, writing and communication skills. Working with teachers, with a strong emphasis on data, to inform our teaching is essential. My Learning and Teaching role allows me to build the professional learning amongst the staff and this means that our students have access to current curriculum knowledge and pedagogy. Together these roles allow me to focus on what matters the most- supporting every child to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
