The year 6’s have a very busy week, can the graduation be held at the end of a school week?
Our year 6 school graduation is traditionally held on the last Tuesday of the last full school week. This is also the most suitable night for our beautiful venue to host OGPS. We have worked closely with MR Grubb Café to ensure this is also most cost effective for our families.
Can the Graduation be held at school during school hours?
This is always an option but poses some difficulties for working parents/carers to attend. When discussions were held with the year 6 leadership group in regard to venues such as the school gym, the local park or Mr Grubb Café the students opted for Mr Grubb Café and preferably an evening event.
The venue…
Mr Grubb Café have been a great support to our fundraising events over the years and are excited to host our students and families on this special night again.
The Cafe is located at 255 Grubb Rd Wallington (at the back of the property) with ample parking. We have exclusive use of the café and the garden making it a safe and secure evening. Our formalities will run mostly outdoors but we do have indoor options if needed.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email them to school for us to consider and answer in the next version of FAQ’s.
We look forward to yet another fantastic evening celebrating our graduating students.
