It's Getting Hot

The weather has been steaming up as we approach Summer. With a few weeks left before we relax into our summer holidays we all need to be mindful of the heat and act in ways that support our enjoyment during the school day.

Please ensure students are wearing a uniform suitable for hot weather: shorts or skirts, dresses and short sleeve t-shirt/polo. In line with the Department of Education's SunSmart policy all students must wear a wide brimmed hat. We also recommend all students bring a cold bottle of water with them to school. They can refill these water bottle throughout the day at the school water taps.

At school we ensure classrooms are kept cool, and remind students throughout the day about passive play during recess and lunch break.
