What's happening in Japanese !
The Junior school have been busy learning the names of shapes (katachi かたち）
They have been practising saying and recognising square (shikaku) circle (maru)
triangle (sankaku) and rectangle (naga-shikaku). The students learnt that some shapes are named according to the number of sides they have e.g. triangle - 3 sides - in Japanese 3 is "san" so it's "sankaku".
Grades have been making shape pictures to finish off the lesson.
