Cultural Immersion

A couple of weeks back Chastity attended her second Wii Gaay trip. This trip was in Sydney at the NCIE. While it looked like a lot of fun Chastity was working hard in learning hubs, up for boot camp every morning and on public transport for a long time. She will be sharing a presentation with everyone.

Last week we had the class party to celebrate how amazingly our cultural class did at Myall creek. We sang some koorie okie, played kangaroo hop, limbo and plenty more.

This week we cooked damper with a rosella jam or golden syrup as a topping. The students had to measure the ingredients and follow a recipe on how to make damper. Cooking is an essential skill. We will be doing it more frequently.
