Marvellous Maths

This week, the Foundation students have been learning about money!

After participating in exciting activities in the classroom, they are able to identify Australian coins, and use money in a shop role play.

Have a look at some of the tasks the terrific teachers put together.

If your child is in Foundation we recommend continuing the learning at home. Talk about prices when you go food shopping, show them coins and talk about what they notice about them; the possibilities are endless!

Maths Riddle #14

We are keeping the same riddle. Thank you to those who answered last time, feel free to have another go!. 

I have added a photo of all of the notes to help you solve the problem. 

If you think about the notes on the outside of the Music room as fractions of a whole (see the picture below for reference), what is the number when you add all of them together?

You need to count all of the musical notes that are attached to the outside walls (not the pictures on the doors). There are 20 all up.
