Sounds at Sunset in pictures

Each semester, St George's proudly showcases our students' musical talents at the Sounds at Sunset concert. This term, on Thursday, 7 November, students had the incredible opportunity to perform pieces they had worked on throughout the semester - whether solo, in duets, or as part of student and school bands—at the stunning Quarry Amphitheatre, with the setting sun as a backdrop.

For some, performing was a step outside their comfort zone, while for others, it was a chance to shine with personality and confidence. Either way, it was a fantastic experience that all who participated enjoyed and embraced, providing students with a wonderful opportunity to develop their performance skills and share their passion for music with the whole school community.

The evening was a tremendous success! The warmth and support from families, friends, and fellow students filled the outdoor venue as the audience cheered every act on and off the stage. 

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a memorable, music-filled evening! We look forward to bringing you more incredible musical performances in 2025.  And thank you to Mr McBride for all these pictures.
