LOTE

Across the school in Indonesian this week, students have been doing activities and games to reinforce their knowledge of basic vocabulary and sentences. Prep students have been discussing their favourite pets, Year 1 and 2 students are reading about the character Wombi at school and asking how to borrow different classroom objects and stationery, Year 3 and 4 students are learning a range of strategies to translate text and Year 5 and 6 students have been comparing school life between different Indonesian students and their own life. We are looking forward to wrapping up our topics and exploring more of Indonesian culture and celebrations as we head towards the end of term.

Visual Arts

With their art units wrapping up, students are ready to start channelling their creativity into transforming the classroom into a Christmas wonderland! The Preps through to the 5/6s are starting to design and craft beautiful Christmas decorations, full of festive cheer, to share with their families and friends. From colourful ornaments to handmade holiday scenes, the students are excited to spread the joy of the season with their artistic creations. It’s a wonderful way to finish the term and celebrate their hard work!
