Around our level
Last Friday we finally got to participate in our colour run! It was a great afternoon and we enjoyed being sprayed first with the water, then running past the parents.
In Reading lessons this week, students have continued to read Bob Graham books. We have made a list of all the Bob Graham books we have read so far this term. Students then chose their favourite book and decorated a hexagon to display as a ‘quilt’.
For Writing lessons, students have been learning about how to use commas correctly. Students have read a book called, ‘The Day Punctuation Came to Town’, and created their own punctuation puppets.
In Maths lessons, students have been learning to tell the time on an analogue clock. Students have been learning about mass and capacity in Measurement lessons. Students are now revising place value.
For Wellbeing lessons, students have learnt about food groups, nutrition and healthy eating habits.
In Geography lessons, students have been learning about the 4 seasons and how to describe them. Students are now learning about Indigenous seasons in the local area.
