What are you passionate about?

I'm passionate about making a positive impact and contributing to make things better for everyone, also kindness because it has the power to create a positive and supportive environment where it helps students feel safe, valued, and confident, allowing them to grow and express themselves to reach their full potential

Why did you apply to be college captain?

I applied to be a college captain because I'm passionate about helping and supporting others, and contributing to create an environment where everyone can feel included and motivated.

What is the first thing you want to advocate for as a college captain?

I want to create opportunities for students to connect and share their differences and focus on spreading kindness and involvement of students within themselves.

Which of the college values (Collaboration | Growth | Persistence | Kindness) do you align with and why?

I would align more with persistence, because I believe when you're committed to your goals, any obstacles that may come your way is avoidable as long as you push hard and move forward with an open mind.

If you could invite 3 people (dead or alive) to a dinner party, who would they be and why?

I would invite:

  • Fyodor Dosteovsky, the Russian novelist because of his deep philosophical views on morality and the complexities of life and emotion,
  • Osamu Dazai, a Japanese author because of his unique perspective of life and human nature, I believe their philosophical views would provide a deep intriguing conversation,
  • Nikocado Avocado, his unfiltered and chaotic personality would keep the conversation more interesting and also because I want to film a TikTok with him.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself finishing off my university degree and continuing to learn things im passionate about, i would also love to be in a position where i can make a positive change and continue to grow as a person

What are you passionate about?

To bring the voice and ideas of students to live and advance on the wants and needs of the students by taking action.

Why did you apply to be a college captain?

I applied to be a college Captain because I got lots of motivation from my teachers and peers.

What is the first thing you want to advocate for as a college captain?

To listen and hear from the students first to be able to advocate for it.

Which of the college values (Collaboration | Growth | Persistence | Kindness) do you align with?

For me, it is definitely kindness as we are all humans, and we should treat each other the way we want to be treated and treat each other with courtesy and, at most, respect as the other values will follow through.

If you could invite three people dead or alive to a dinner party who would they be and why?

My Dad (Sarwar), Abdul Ali Mazari and Prophet Muhammad SAW. Since they are the ones who I learn from and value the most all of them have shown great leadership throughout history and ways of being a great person that puts the needs of others before their own.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I probably see myself somewhere in the advocacy sector being the voice for the people as well as going to the UN and  fight for the rights of many individuals who don't have a voice.
