Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Parents and Carers,

Combined Parish & School Christmas Concert

I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made our recent Christmas Concert such a resounding success.  The concert was a beautiful showcase of our students' incredible talents, and it was made even more special by the involvement of our parents and parishioners. A big thank you to all those who joined in the carols singing, bringing a traditional festive spirit to the evening.

The staff and I are also deeply grateful for the delicious international dishes prepared by our wonderful volunteer chefs. Your tasty cuisines added a special touch to the event, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful array of flavours from around the world. Thank you for your support and for making the evening so memorable.

Graduation Mass & High Tea

We are looking forward to a very special occasion this afternoon as we gather to farewell our Year 6 students at their Graduation Mass followed by High Tea. It will be a special occasion for our Year 6 students, their families, and our dedicated staff, who have all played a part in supporting these students throughout their primary school years. The Graduation Mass will provide an opportunity for reflection and prayer, while the High Tea will allow everyone to share in the celebration of this important milestone. We are excited to mark this significant event, and we look forward to celebrating the hard work, growth, and success of our Year 6 students with their families.

Year 5 Leadership

Congratulations to our Year 5 students on being selected for their new leadership roles for 2025. The process of writing letters, delivering speeches, and participating in interviews has been a wonderful learning experience for all of the students involved. It provided them with an opportunity to reflect on their strengths and aspirations while developing essential skills in communication and self-expression.

We are excited to see how these young leaders will grow in their new roles and contribute to our school community in the year ahead. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and leadership will undoubtedly inspire others, and we look forward to supporting them as they embark on this exciting journey.

Semester Two Reports

Semester Two reports will be available for you to view this afternoon. These reports provide valuable insight into your child’s progress and achievements over the past semester.

I encourage you to take the time to review the reports and celebrate your child’s successes, as well as identify areas for further growth and development. Should you have any questions or require clarification on any aspects of the report, please feel free to contact the school.

Meet the Teacher

Next Monday, our students will engage in a "Meet the Teacher" session as part of our transition process from one class to another. This is an important opportunity for students to become familiar with their new teachers and classmates, helping to ease any anxieties and ensure a smooth transition into the new year. We believe that building positive relationships early on is key to setting our students up for success, and we are excited for them to begin this next chapter of their learning journey.

End of Year Liturgies

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Kindy parents and families who have been able to attend the end-of-year class liturgies. These special gatherings have been a beautiful way to come together as a school community and give thanks for the wonderful year of learning and growth.

The support and presence of our families at these liturgies have made them even more meaningful, and we are grateful for your continued involvement in the life of our school.

Thank you once again for helping to make this a memorable and rewarding year for all our students. Next week the following classes will celebrate their liturgies: Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5.

Class Parents "Thank You" & Review

Next Friday, we will be holding a Class Parents meeting, to personally thank all our Class Parents for their hard work and dedication throughout 2024. Their efforts have played a vital role in supporting our school community, and we are incredibly grateful for their time and commitment.

During the meeting, we will review what has worked well this year and reflect on ways we can make 2025 even better. We look forward to hearing feedback and ideas, to improve and grow as a school.
