Music Encore Nomination #2

Congratulations to William Louis who this week received notification from NESA that his Elective Composition, ‘José Feng Shui’, written for electric guitar, electric piano, 5-string electric bass and drum-kit, has been nominated for inclusion in Encore.

This is William’s second nomination for HSC Music Course 1 and is an outstanding achievement.

Presentation Day

A reminder that all music co-curricular music ensembles are busily rehearsing for end of year performances. It is essential that students attend all rehearsals between now and the conclusion of term. Thank you.

Instrument returns

All hired music instruments must be returned to school in Week 8 for annual servicing.

Instruments will be collected in the Sports Centre after Presentation Day if being played or they can be returned to the Music Office any day in Week 8. Please make sure to remove all personal items from the instrument case. 

If you are intending to hire again in 2025, please let the Music Office know so that we can reserve an instrument for you.
