SCHOOL UNIFORM

From Monday 7th October all school uniforms must be ordered through:

Please note there will be no uniform delivery in the last week of Term 4. This is a busy week for both schools and couriers and if the delivery is not made prior to school finishing then there is a risk that orders are lost at the courier depot over the holidays.

Final Uniform Delivery 2024 – Week 10 2024 - 9th - 13th December 2024
First Uniform Delivery 2025 – Week 1 2025 - 28th– 31st January 2025
Orders placed during the break for Delivery to School will be held and sent when school reopens on 28th January.
Orders for delivery to home will continue to be processed and sent via Australia Post. (Except during our Christmas Closure period from 20th December to 6th January)
All stores will close at 5.00 pm on Friday 20th December and reopen at 9.00 am Wednesday 8th January. Please check the website for each store’s hours.
All stores will be open on Australia Day Public Holiday 27th January 2025

ONLINE LUNCH ORDERING

We have a number of children that are missing out on their lunch orders due to user error. Please make sure you select the correct date and move through each step to avoid your child missing out on their lunch order. You can check your receipt to confirm that you've completed the order correctly.

Lunch orders are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The online ordering process is up and running.

Please log in to Qkr! and follow the steps.

Lunch orders are all on line. Orders must be placed by 8:30 a.m.

THE JAPANESE WORD OF THE FORTNIGHT

がんばって (pronounced ‘ganbatte’) which means ‘Good luck / Hang in there’ is the Japanese Word for Week 9 & 10 of Term 4. You can say ‘がんばって’ (ganbatte) when you’d like to encourage and support someone to do well in any tasks and challenges.

Thank you / ありがとうございます (pronounced ‘aligatoh gozaimas’) for your continuing support for our Japanese program.

GRADE 2 - MELBOURNE ZOO

On our excursion to Melbourne Zoo, Grade 2 students were thrilled to see animals from all over the world. We explored different habitats, learned about species, and watched the playful animals. Everyone loved seeing the giraffes up close! The seal Zookeeper Talk taught us about conservation and we even got to ask zookeepers questions. After lunch, we visited the reptile house and marveled at the colourful snakes and lizards. It was a day full of learning, fun, and animal encounters!

PREP - CHICKENS AT VALKSTONE

Last week, the chicks arrived for the Preps! As part of their inquiry project, students are exploring the chicken life cycle and observing the chicks hatch and grow. The Preps have loved showing the chicks to older grades, sharing their excitement and curiosity.’
