2024 Debutante Ball

On the 22nd of March, seven debutantes and their partners stepped out at the Wedderburn College Debutante Ball. 

The debutantes and their partners were as follows; Ella Weber partnered by Maikia Punguika, Kalais Crees partnered by Deacon Tansley, Charlotte Carroll partnered by Scott Reid, Amelia Buschmann partnered by Beau Hartnell, Sianna Thomas partnered by Aaron Thomas, Lillian Stephenson partnered by Jamie Turner and Elizabeth Norman partnered by Travis Lowe. 

A long 8 weeks of learning to dance, taught by the amazing Dede Williams led us up to this moment. Trainings were filled with laughter and tears and lots of falling over. It was a great experience, and many memories were made along the way.

The night ran smoothly all thanks to our chaperones Mr G, Miss Milne, Miss Graham and Miss Emily. 

David Skinner ‘The Music Man’ was amazing as always. Debutantes, partners and guests alike all danced the night away. 

Thank you to Melinda Springthorpe and the Parent's Association for organising the night and their work along the way. 

It was a special night for all of us and we thank you for making it one to remember.
