Students in 3/4 have returned to school feeling fresh and ready to learn. They were happy to see their peers and settled back into their classes. It has already been this term with an incursion to introduce the Children’s University on Monday 22nd April. The 3/4 students were engaged throughout the talk, showing the values of Kilberry Valley Primary School.
This term, 3/4 students will be exploring celebrations and commemorations from different cultures as our OLA unit. This week students have been looking at ANZAC Day commemoration. Students have been busy making hands with written messages of gratitude to turn into wreaths. The colour of the hand's students used, represent the red and green of the poppy to remember our soldiers, some students have chosen to give thanks to the animals that served alongside the soldiers. For this they have used purple paper for their hands.
