Outdoor Movie Night
Friday 3rd May
Get ready for a magical evening under the stars at our Outdoor Movie Night!
Â
đ We're thrilled to announce that the winner of this year's outdoor movie night, with nearly 50% of the votes, is none other than Coco! Join us on this enchanting journey following Miguel, a 12-year-old boy whisked away to the Land of the Dead as he seeks the help of his musician great-great-grandfather to reunite with his family and bring music back into their lives.
Â
This heartwarming film ties into our community's upcoming Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos celebrations, adding even more significance to the event. While Coco may have some spooky moments, we encourage parents and carers to help prepare younger children for the experience.
Â
đŹ The fun begins at 5 PM, so arrive early to grab some delicious food before the movie kicks off at sundown, around 6:15 PM. Indulge in BBQ delights, savoury empanadas, sweet treats from the cake stall, choc tops, and popcorn galore! Don't forget to bring along your picnic rugs, cushions, blankets, and maybe a plate for added comfort.
Â
We're calling for volunteers to help run the stalls. Even if you're keen to enjoy the movie with your family, teaming up with a friend to split a shift works wonders and keeps the lines moving smoothly.
Â
đ Do you own a small business or know someone with a generous spirit? We're seeking sponsors to help cover screen hire costs. For just $160, your business will be showcased before the movie, reaching a captive audience of moviegoers. Interested? Reach out to Claire at newlandsprimarypfa@gmail.com to make a big-screen impact!
Â
Stay tuned for the movie poster and sign-up link, coming your way soon. Let's make this movie night one to remember! đżđ
