Year 12 Students v Teachers Volleyball

As a welcome back to term 2, staff and students and the Physical Education team organised a teacher’s vs Year 12 students' volleyball match. 

It was a wonderful opportunity for the teachers and students to participate and bond in an activity outside the classroom. 

The Year 12 students came in ready and rearing to beat the teachers in their favourite sport, but unfortunately for them, they were no match for the dream team the teachers pulled together. 

The teachers team consisted of Mr Smith, Mr Croft, Mr Bulbul, Mr Corrie, Ms Deboer, Ms Marsal and one of our pre-service teachers joined us, Max Proposch and our umpire Mr Youssef. 

It is with this team that won 3 sets to 0 against the wonderful Year 12 students that participated.

The first two sets the teachers won with very little fight put up by the 12 students, in the last set, the Year 12 team tried their absolute hardest and almost got one up on the teachers. 

With the support of their peers and fellow teachers watching, it was a good game and fun to play. 

Congratulations to our Year 12 students for putting up a good fight and to our teachers on winning this round. 

The Year 12 students are ready for a re-play and we will see them at the end of this term for that game.
