National Simultaneous Storytime 

Belmore was awash in a sea of blue and became a bowerbird’s paradise as students and staff wore blue or brought in their favourite blue item to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday 22nd May.  Belmore students joined over 2.3 million others around Australia reading this year’s book, ‘Bowerbird Blues’ together on this day. 

Students also discovered lots of fun ways to explore the curriculum with this beautiful book as the theme.  From collecting and counting to cooking; making beautiful blue artwork from new and recycled materials, to investigating what other events happen simultaneously it was a busy day full of lots of fun!
