VOCABULARY

Collection:

A group of things/objects like a box of pencils, a jar of cookies or a sky full of stars

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Children can count their collection of toys, socks or shirts at home by making pairs.

How many pairs make your collection? What is the number of items? Is there an odd toy, sock or shirt or do I have even pairs?

Can I think of another way to count my collection? Maybe by 5s!
