VOCABULARY
Rhyming:
A rhyme is similar sounds between the endings of two or more words. For example, 'bone' rhymes with 'phone'.
ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Children can create a list of words that rhyme. For example:
- Phone and bone
- Car and star
- Bee and tree
- House and mouse
Children can use these words to create some silly poems.
The star in the car.
The bee on the tree.
The bone had a phone.
The mouse and the house.
