King's College Makers' Market

As part of the VCE Vocational Major course, the VM class is partnering with the PTFA to run the King's College Makers' Market. In the lead up to Mother's Day, the market will be held from 4pm to 6pm on Friday 10th May.

This event will be located in the School Pentagon and in Room S8. The students will be serving hot drinks and slices throughout the afternoon. Any students in Years 4 to 12 are invited to register a stall here.

A $10 stallholders fee will apply and all money raised from the event will go to the PTFA to invest back into the College. As part of the registration process, students are required to explain what they will be selling at their stall and upload a picture of their product.

The VCE VM class is happy to field any questions and can be contacted through me at mjellie@kings.vic.edu.au

Thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing some creative products for sale.

Ride/Walk 2 School - Monday 13th May

Active travel to School can help kick start your day in a healthy way.

King's College has been contacted by Warrnambool City Council's Healthy Moves program to promote discussion around healthy habits which include active travel to and from school.

To encourage participation, Beyond Bank have provided 2 x $100 vouchers which will be given to one Junior and one Senior Student who participates in Ride/Walk 2 School on Monday 13th May.

To qualify for entry, students must have walked to school (minimum 10 mins) or ridden their bike or scooter that morning. Mr Wakim & Mrs McLeod will be at the front entrance gate to write down each participating student's name to go into the draw.

Parents/Guardians can accompany young students for safety reasons and may enjoy a take away coffee from the Pentagon.

Join in on the day and embrace a healthier start to your day.
