ART NEWS

It has been really wonderful to see the smiling faces of our talented students back in the Art room this term! Both the Art room and the Library, which our Grade 1s and Grade 6s use for their Art lessons, are showcasing some of the newer pieces of work created by our incredible students, and we could not be more proud of them.

Our term has begun with a strong focus on the colour wheel, and the various relationships which colours share. Students have been exploring how to blend colours to create other shades, through a range of mediums, including paint and pastels.

Our first learning task for the term truly celebrates the concept of creative diversity, with all year levels having the same theme for their portfolio task, however, have different resources and techniques to use, whilst creating their artwork. We look forward to sharing their completed pieces with you shortly!
