Hands On Learning

On Tuesday, the Hands on Learning team enjoyed the beautiful winter sunshine, spending most of the day working in the kitchen garden. 

We cooked egg and bacon rolls in the electric fry pan which we set up among the garden beds. Some of the team cooked while others took orders from staff and harvested, packed and delivered the vegetables to their classrooms. 

Earlier in the day, we made apple and rhubarb and choc beetroot muffins for the staff morning tea. 

Next Tuesday we’re all very excited to host Toasty Tuesday. We’ll be very busy making cheese toasties for the whole school.
