Cardboard carnival
This Term, Mr Dal Santo's Maths class has been working on a 'Cardboard Carnival'. This involved creating a game out of cardboard for others to play, keeping with that 'carnival' style game. Each student's game needed to involve chance and probability.
The Year 5 students then visited Mr Dal Santos's class to play the games, and their results were collected for each game so that the data could be analysed.
In their upcoming Maths Classes, the students will analyse the data, and compare the difference between tested probability and the data collected from two classes.
Based on their data, they will also evaluate how to increase or decrease the chances of success for their game.
