We're excited to announce that our school will be participating in Book Week from Monday 19th – Friday 23rd August. This annual event, organised by the Children's Book Council of Australia, celebrates Australian children's literature and promotes the joy of reading.

This year's theme is Reading is Magic. Throughout the week, we have planned a variety of engaging activities to inspire our students and foster a love of books.

Our school library has stocked up on a wide range of new and exciting titles for Book Week, including some of this year's notable children's books. Children will be exploring these new additions with their classroom teachers, and they will then be available to borrow after Book Week.

On Wednesday 21st August, we are having a Dress Up Day. Students are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. Our parents and our school community are invited to attend our Book Week Dress Up Day Assembly which will be held in the school gym at 9:00 a.m. Please join us if you’re able.

Book Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate literature and reinforce the importance of reading. We look forward to seeing your children dive into new worlds and stories during this special week.

Happy reading!
