Introducing Adelaide University

By early 2025, Adelaide University will offer more than 300 programs ahead of local applications opening in August for 2026 entry. And it’s important to know that there will be no major discipline changes from what is currently offered by the existing institutions. Students can start to connect with us and register their interest through the Adelaide University Future Students Enquiry Team. During this period of transformation, the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia remain strongly committed and focused on the next academic year. Students looking to start their studies in 2025 can continue to apply to the respective universities and will be highly supported in their transition to Adelaide University in their existing or an equivalent program, including an individual study plan.

Victoria University Block Model

Unlike the standard university model where students juggle multiple subjects at once over a semester, at VU students get to focus on one unit at a time over a four-week ‘block’.  Students typically finish their block on a Friday and receive their results on the following Monday, taking away uncertainty and a long wait for results. Considering Teaching?

Casper is a requirement of applying to many initial teaching training courses in Victoria Casper.

Casper is an online test designed to assess an applicant’s personal and professional attributes.

Most universities offering undergraduate teaching courses will be requiring students sit the Casper online test as part of the selection into teaching degrees in 2025.  Students are encouraged to browse VTAC and determine which courses will require the Casper for selection.  Students might also like to browse Casper FAQs and have a look at Casper Preparation too.   Students might find this YouTube clip useful.
