Book Week 2024

Commencing Saturday, 17 August, celebrations right the way around Australia launch kicking off what is sure to be a magnificent year highlighting the magic marvel that is reading, and the wonders that evolve from sharing great stories and building lifelong habits of finding time with a brilliant book in our youngest readers.

On Monday,  19th August beginning at 9:00 am, the annual LNPS Book Week Parade will be held in the Gym.  Staff and students are very excited and eagerly anticipating the magical costumes that will appear on the day! Please note that this is a dress-up parade based on a book of choice.  Be creative and put together a costume with your child from found items,  it does not need to be a commercial costume. We will have two areas for parents to stand at the front and back of the Gym. Entry for parents will be through the foyer and the door near  Torrens. 

On Thursday 22nd August students will be participating in whole school Book Week activities with their buddy class. Activities are planned around the theme of Reading is Magic.
